How To Take Amazing Photographs (Really)

The folks over at the awesome photoblog, Lightstalking posted a really poignant article the other day on why some people almost always take amazing photographs. While I don’t count myself among the elite, I do realize that I am able to take a higher percentage of good photographs than the average person. I have always given the advice “Practice, practice, practice (and read a lot of books).” when asked by a budding amateur how they can improve their skills, but I think this article really nails some of the points that I hadn’t even thought about. Many of these things I do without thinking about, so it’s no wonder I overlooked them.

Anyway, great read by the Lightstalking folks. Check it out.
